Anyone knows the latest price of Sandisk 2GB Extreme III CompactFlash Card? B&H is selling @110 US$, around US$120 include shipping cost. Is it worth to buy?

For Extreme III, seem to be a good buy.

Not sure about 2Gb but 4Gb is about S$460.
I understand the 2Gb may be around near to S$300 thus still not worth going for at the moment.

Why is SanDisk so popular? What about others like Transcend or even Kingston? Seems like SanDisk is the most expensive but that doesn't make it the best, does it?

Just wondering how you guys choose the brand, if at all. Passing thought!:think:

Maybe the Ultra II is not competitive enough but the Extreme III pricing is currently OK compared to just 3-4 weeks ago, a 4Gb is around S$700. Kingston initial price for their 100x 4Gb card is around S$500.

Er.....4G ExtremeIII costs US$ 240....but a little too large
