Any using it? Cos if I got a sd 95mbs card will the adaptor read the same speed?
The 95MB/s is the maximum interface speed of the card, nothing else. The final transfer speed is also defined by the USB port, chipset and system load. Get a branded reader (e.g. Sandisk). Not sure whether there are already USB3 types out, some computers have it already or you can get the USB3 cards.Any using it? Cos if I got a sd 95mbs card will the adaptor read the same speed?
Is the TS asking about a SD to CF adapter instead?
The Sandisk one all type of card also can read, except Credit Card/ATM Card...
There is this SD to CF adapter, so by using a 95mb/s SD, will the speed of the SD be affected (lower) if were to use the CF adapter?
He is talking about the Extreme SD to CF adapter... anybody tried it before? By the way, is there a way (software) to test the speed of the memory cards?

Adapter and reader are 2 different thing.
N-user said:okie... but why wanna do that??? Use reader faster right??? Really curious... :dunno:
Few posibilities, you wanted to use an eye-fi card on a camera which only accepts CF. You only have SD cards but your camera only accepts CF and does not want to purchase anymore cards.
