Due to some enqiuries on what the event is actually about:

It is an event where you will be given a specific theme on that day and you are supposed to go around and give your expression on the theme through photography! So everyone is given a fair and square playing field as theme will only be given on that day.

You will be allocated 3 hours to go around any places you like to take photos :)

Hope it clears some doubt!

More enquiry please email us at gsccps@gmail.com

look at their R&R again..they also discount those 14 and below..:bsmilie:

and we just got a 14 yo who just bought a 50D..so i guess his photos cannot be entered right due to someone's perception that an age limit must be set?

even my nephew of all 4 years can use a PnS to take photos..

they should just have categories for different age group then.

4-10 / 11-16 / 17-infinity..

just my two cents.. i rest my case.

haha lols, i feel paiseh, cause i think that 14 yo is me

Hi guys,

A few things to take note:

Yes, this event's main objective is to reach out to all youth age 14-35, we have no intention on discriminating anyone above/below this age. We truly understand photography have no boundaries no matter age, gender, religion. Sadly to say, we have already made our target group this time around and hope to get your out most understanding on any inconvenience cause.

However, we do heed your advice in regards to the age group and we will look into it and hopefully the next Capture the moment 2010 will be a bigger event where we can cater everyone into it.

Thanks for your advices and cheers for photography! :)

woah? 14 or 15? if 14 then i can liao....no offence to the old birds ah

Nothing wrong abt the age limit since it's organised by the PA youth... strange thing is that the BEST PHOTO get a prize and it seems to imply that best photo is not 1st,2nd or 3rd? Is that because there's 2 themes and the highest scoring 2 shots of the same participant wins?

Hooray for this competition......

hopes many will join and have fun

see what the judges think.

by the way organizer, will there be a Certificate of Participation?

just to check....if it is very obvious that any shot is taken in controlled studio like conditions, still counted as "the moment" shot?

Also if you are taking entries, really have to trust that the photographers wont PP the Raw first before submission of jpg but then, is "In Camera" editing allowed?

Can make payment on the day itself?

i feel like joining but i have sensor dusts so wait if straight submission might see the dusts , nyeh!

LOL @ Velasco. I think the dust wouldnt be so noticeable unless its like a BIG patch of dust which is highly unlikely unless you haven't been taking care of your camera. AND so pick up your air brush and cleaning kit to do a spring cleaning for your precious cam !

:lovegrin::lovegrin::lovegrin:
