Wow.... thanks. Did you scan direct from the film or was it the print that you scanned from?

Thanks
from the negatives..... the 4400f comes with a 35mm film strip holder for 6 frames...:)

thanks. for how much did you pay for it and where? i saw it at challenger @ $199. anywhere else selling lower than that?
i got it for $190 but cash or nets payment.... bought at pk....
most of the places out of stock when i went looking for it...

hi antitrust,

i had considered the 8600f...but decided not to because of my usage....
i dun shoot mf and color films, only for 35mm b/w, so with the same dpi,
i went for the 4400f.... as for the speed, i'm not fussy....:)

100%crop on the 1200dpi scanned shot....

cheers...

The pictures says it all for the scanner! Wow!

Bro Kross, perhaps you might want to get Canon to pay you for helping them on promoting this scanner for them. ;)

Thank you very much for sharing.

ur scan is great!! how come my scans are never as sharp? i know it's not due to my manual focussing... as not one part of the picture is sharp at all...

do you mind sharing what settings you use?

thanks!!
