canon's warranty questions,.....help please

what is my entitlement within the 1 year warranty?

can i send the d30 for servicing? and how long will it take?

and i found that the battery is running flat very soon. less than an hour! can i demand for a one to one exchange?

and if i really have to do so, can i do it at the showroom in funan centre?

advice needed urgently as 13th of june is the deadline of the warranty:rbounce: :rbounce:
 

Just send it in and see what they say...at the most if they charge you for any servicing, just say no and get your cam back.

If the problem lie with batteries, I do not there is any warranty since is coming to a year.
 

i just got an OEM battery from AP at $36, there are two version from AP, one cheap, one more expensive...

the more expensive one looks better to me...the contact is gold plated one...

it is suppose to be as good as orignal one...try it...
 

just called canon.

well, they said the batt is not under warraty coverage.

btw, how is the 3rd party battery?

giga or mega better?
