Canon TC 1.4x MkII-Dropped

:cry: This morning, I dropped my 1.4x TC while in the carrier bag and the rear lens came off together with the metal attachment ring. Luckily both lens caps were on and I managed to put the lens back together with the attachment ring. Anyone with the same experience? Should I take it to Canon for a check?

If you're to bring it back, don't tell them you dropped it, but tell them it dropped out while you were using it...maybe they can cover it under warranty...:bsmilie: :bsmilie:

Thanks. Tried it out and everything seems to be fine. Doesn't appear to suffer at all. Guess I was lucky this time

Have the lens alignment check out .. it would had taken a lot of stress for the lens mount to come off as you described
