What kind of "artistic" pics can be had using automatic cameras such as Canon S50? Any suggestions on how to maximize usage of such small and portable cameras?

Hmm.. no suggestions? or few people have these camera models?

Stuff that would be of interest includes :

1. bokeh (depth of field) type pictures
2. light trail picture
3. pano pics (wide angle, photo stitch etc)
4. portrait pics? (lighting?)
5. macro pics
