Canon Pixma IP4200

Dear friends,

My home printer just went bonked and it is not economical to repair it. I am considering of purchasing the abovenamed printer for gp printing and a4 sized photo prints. Anyone to comment on this printer? Any other printers to recommend? Budget no more than $250 preferably.

IP4200 gonna be one of the most best bang for bucks printer out there if not are not looking at professional photo printout. you probably can find them under $170 or even less than $150 with a set of 5 cartridges...

Thanks for the info! Canon is having some sort of fair now at all major electronic marts and retailing about $180. So for the price you mentioned, I will have to hunt for it in other retail stores.

It is certainly a fast and quiet printer. Does not use a lot of ink either.

i am using its predecessor, ip4000. it's the best printer i have ever bought.
