actually i have canon 50mm f1.8, so now i am thinking of getting canon 50mm f1.4 or sigma 50mm f1.4 or any lens with f1.4

its pretty obvious aint it?I think a lot will go for sigma 50 1.4 even if compared to canon's 50 1.4...but to each its own...

It's a different lens, 20mm shorter. Have you read some reviews?
Get the lens that fits your purpose and your budget. Define both first.

on a crop, 30mm is equivalent to abt 50mm..and to me it is the sweet spot to my shooting style...thats why i got it...
