Hi everyone...although i have been shooting for quite some time, i am new to mirrorless cams and im thinking of switching from 5dmk2 to m6 mainly due to the light weight and the budget price. I am using my 5dmk2 now for small casual events such as birthday parties and some outdoor walkabout shoots which requires fast candid shots at times. Can i ask all the masters around if it is worth making the switch?

M6 maximum shutter speed is 1/4000s and 5DMk2 is 1/8000 - but why would that matter?
I think what you need to read up about is the comparison of shutter delay / lag between both systems.
If you need a small and light system (and want to stay in 'Canon land') I would rather recommend the 77D. Size wise between 750D and 80D series, in terms of functions closer to 80D.
