CANON IMAGING ACADEMY
Kuantan, Malaysia - 3 Days, 2 Nights (28th June - 30th June 2013)
This photographic trip comprises of a few main attractions for photographers, Sungai Lembing Hill, Sungai Pandan Waterfall and Kuantan Fishing Village.
The administrative capital of the picturesque Malaysian state of Pahang since 1955, Kuantan is neither big nor glamourous but still wears its status remarkably well.
Visitors heading north, south or across the Malay Peninsula will of necessity have to travel via Kuantan - the city is a transport hub and a major stopover for flights, ferries, trains and for those travelling on the national highway. The town of Sg Lembing is once the richest town in Pahang. In the olden days, there are about thousands of people working in the mine. Today many of the wooden shophouses are closed and people have moved to the nearby town. The old and rustic town provides a charming place for photography.
