Canon G5x Mark ii Contrast Focusing

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a pocket camera, currently comparing Sony RX100 vii and Canon G5x Mark ii.

I am more of a photo person rather than video, hence I am more keen on Canon G5x.

I only have one concern which is the contrast focusing on G5x.

Does anyone owns a G5x? Would like like to know whether it takes very long to focus onto moving subject?

I am using Fuji cameras, don't own any Canon cameras.

Both the G5 X Mark II and the G7 X Mark III have great focusing systems. I do not own either, but when I tried them out, absolutely loved the performance, especially since they are point-and-shoots.
