i'm sure you have considered those b4 choosing the cam ? :)

I have it. i think it is kind of suitable for newbies(like me). But if you planning to have a good zoom, I don't think it is that good. Also, I still don't really know how to use the flash well. Most of my images will be overexposed when flash is being used.
Hope that helps.

I did I did i just need some pointers presume let's say can i take the droplet shot though my macro is 6cm but can I have addons to do that shots?

oh yes you can. Using closeup diopters like the hoya ones or canon closeup lens, you can increase ur macro capability. Need to get an adapter tube for the cam to allow add ons

the prices of those filters?

Depends on what brand and kind of filters u getting.
Eg a cheap hoya +4 cost around $15 +/- to a canon 250D close up lens cost $150 +/-

Other accessories in the order of importance (to me at least :)):

1. Larger CF (must have)
2. Spare battery (must have)
3. Lens cleaning kit
4. Camera bag (I use lowepro)
5. Tripod
6. Adaptor tube + UV filter
7. Macro lens/filter
8. Teleconverter
9. External flash

hi,
price,... was 1270-1300 2 weeks ago... and its difficult to beat the depreciation... so get it... and start shooting.. heeeeee..
features... like most people will say... depends whats impt to u...
u can look up the reviews in dprevie.. n i m sure u did...
but one thing i dont like is that you cant zoom in movie mode, while most of the dc had that few years back.... ohh.. and its zoom range... 3x... eer... its ok with me.. but will it be alrite with you? its not as ergonomic as some of the SLR look alike (nikon CP, fuji 6900 n e-10)
