I would recommend buying the Nikon D3. The pictures taken with this camera will definitely make people go WOW.

I would recommend the Hassy H3D2, with the 39MP back, the images are truly breathtaking ....

oh, point and shoot .... I have absolutely no idea, point and shoot, I am still using the Canon G3 and Minolta Xt, very not up to date.

I would go for the Powershot A590IS as it has manual controls like a DSLR so you can practice if you wish to upgrade in the future. The Canon seems to have better colour reproduction comparing pictures. The Canon would be better under low-light too based on their f/stop range.

The Canon camera is at selling $369. Not very sure about the Panasonic camera.
