Canon 50D body for $1,300....Really!!!

Saw from B&S thread stated 50D body (brand new) for $1,300 only at canon...

Called up canon no such thing. Even the 'BUY BACK PROGRAMME' also no such price. Can anyone comfirm this. If true really like 'MAD'.

One thing I have read about Canon is that they won't tell you there's a "buy back program" over the phone. You have to head down to the CSC with a spoilt camera before they would offer you this Privileged Program. It will be 20.5% off Canon's RRP on http://www.canon.com.sg/section/promotion/consumer.jsp You will still get to enjoy the same free gifts as well

Yup a "trade-in" of an old useless spoilt Canon printer or spoilt camera that you are about to throw away? Pretty sweet deal.

You don't even have to trade in your working G9 450D etc for it.
