Canon 450D or Nikon D700 better?

Hi all,

I never use a SLR before so I want to hear advise from you guys whether Canon 450D or Nikon D700 is better.

Is it advisable to buy now or wait till the coming PC show?
Not sure if buy during the PC show will come with more freebies but more expensive?

D700 is better because it has got a lot more functionality. This is from an experience photographer point of view.

450D is better because it is cheaper. This is from a newbie point of view.

What is better? it is better to do your research.

All the answers are already given.

Comparing a 450D with a D700 is like comparing a D24 durian with rambutan.

Bottomline cannot compare and almost impossibe to answer your question.
