Can the Canon 600EX (& St-e3) trigger the YN600 speed light?

Hi guys,

I've a Canon 600EX & the ST-E3. I thinking of adding a spare YN600 (which is 1/3 the cost) for backup and also those very rare situations where i need a 2nd speedlight to light up the hair.

Anyone has experience if the ST-E3 will trigger the YN600? (I assume if the ST-E3 triggers, the 600EX itself on the camera can trigger it by being the master as well?)

yes the YN and canon work interchangably.

the only thing the YN600 cant do is act as master using optical trigger. it can only act as master using the radio trigger
