yesterday me try to take pic with my Nikon D90 with Sigma 30mm f1.4 on Live View but cant.
anyone here having the same problem as me?
how to solved.

Mine can. What is the issue that you are facing?

cant live view at all. but when i which to 28-300mm lens i can use the live view function to take pic.
not sure what is the issue.
also the reticle suppose to be red but it turn out to be grey

Hmm....that's wierd, but just to let you know that my case I can. Just use it as any normal lens, can AF (contrast detection method/slow) in Live View, and record. You tried cleaning the contacts? Just a long shot...

will try out tonight again

Live view has nothing to do with the lens.

then how come like that

then how come like that

To think that you need to have special lenses to live view shows that you still have a loooong way to go in even understanding how your camera works.

As other members have stated, you may have dirty contacts, thus the camera is thinking no lens is correctly attached.
