can lens be re-coated?

I have some good old manual lens. They are finctioning properly but the glass coating is not as good as new ones ( obviously because the lens was made like 20 years ago ). Is it possible to dismantle and re-coat the lens here in Singapore or any part of the world?

Any one had simliar experiences to share ?

:thumbsup: link, but sounds a little bit expansive ... anyway, if it is not a good lens, then it is not worth the repair right. thanks again.
