Unlikely, but you can check the spec on the 3rd party grip again.

i bought batt grip for D5000 from one of the vendors here. the logo look like this... u go guess. ;(

yes it works, and has another button on base to do portrait. tat button works also.

nikon doesnt have an official batt grip for d5000 while for d300/d700 is the mb-d10. so even if it's 3rd party, highly unlikely that it's the same. even the size of the d5000 is different from d300/d700

Most probably cannot, the size is totally different, I doubt the screw mount would be at the same position for both cameras.

No. The size is different and the way the connection is made is also different.

None of those, since Nikon does not make battery grips for the D5000 anyway.
