Can I discuss about digital camers here?

So, overall, is the A60 better than the CP2100 in function wise?

I saw the A60, its a bit heavier than the CP2100.

Weight is actually a good thing, and particularly so when you are using a small point and shoot cam. Anything lighter will result in camera shake as you depress the shutter. Some weight will serve as a balance.

The weight comes from the 4 AA batteries. You know the merits of that type over the proprietary lithium-ion batteries.

The grip on the A60 is superior. You will know what i mean when your hands start sweating, and your palms get clammy, as you struggle to hold a smooth piece of plastic or metal with no moulded grip.

Nikon 2100 & 3100 model was designed primary for the Japanese market where small, light and portablility is more important. Japs has smaller hands, so it fit rite for them. Ladies love this cam too, since it fit in their handbag.
