Cameras in Aussie

Hi,

Have anyone staying or been to Aussie and compare the prices if the Camera are cheaper there ? I know the warranty is covered in Aussie only but if we were to stay there or study there, wont it be better to get the body there. The lens should be internationally covered and thus I can bring mine over to there.

BTW, if we are working in Aussie, I heard that you can claim tax refunds back if you are using the camera or even a laptop as part of your working tool...is this true ?

The cams and lenses re generally at least slightly more ex here. Warranty for canon, I'm not sure. But for sigma, it doesn't stand here even if it's under international warranty. It's stated in both aussie and sigma's official sites. Tax refund, yes. U'll have to read the regulations when u apply for it. It changes every yr.
