Hi there!

Am looking for alternatives to assist in mounting of a camera to be remote triggered behind the goal.

Understand there are those that you poke into the pitch. Any idea on the model number and where is it available locally?

Saw a Manfrotto 143 @ CP, thought that's possible too, any advise for or against that..? (was thinking this would be decent in court games too)

Lastly, would appreciate recommendations on camera clamps as well ( those that u can clamp onto the goal post for eg...not interested in Joby btw)

Thanks!

I would not clamp a camera onto the goal post unless you want to see it fly.

As for setting up behind the goal, any tripod can do that. No need to damage the pitch by driving something into it.

thanks for yr inputs, have tried tripods before, but they are relatively bulkier to deploy behind the goal thus looking for alternatives...

We just use any reasonably stable small tripod, as in those that resemble table top tripods. There are various models available by different manufacturers.

Yup, table top tripod. And maybe a small extension post.
