Camera Problem. Help .

Hi clubsnappers,
First of all I'm still new to photography.
I've been experiencing an error/problem with my D3100.
Its been happening quite often.
Whenever I try to shoot, it keeps showing this message
"Error, press shutter release button"
Its repetitive even after the shutter release.

May I have some advice from experts on what might be wrong with my camera? Is it the lens or the body?

try taking out your battery memory card and put it back again then try again see if can =)

Did a search in the google. There are heaps of information there. Actually this seemed pretty usual for low end Nikon DSLR.

Use something like blue grease instead of WD40.
