anybody knows a good bag that holds & protects a full sized notebook, camera + lens & flash?

just some slingbag suggestions,

(1) Billingham 445 or 555, with notbook inserts
(2) Lowepro Stealth Reporter 650
(3) Crumpler December Quarter

i'm using a Billingham 335 for my S2, flash and 2 lens plus my ibook in the front compartment.

my best investment in a camera bag thus far. worth every cent i spent. am very pleased though i felt that the bag could be cheaper... haha

willy, you talking shoulder bag or backpack?

believe it or not, sometimes i use my Targus backpack to carry around my laptop, SLR and some small lenses. all nicely padded of course. :D

Prob shoulder so i can change lens while standing
ok then i highly recommend the Stealth Reporter 600. i use that frequently, and when the occasion calls for it i add lens cases and bags to fit the gear as required. the 650 like what AJ23 said is nice, but it's a bit too massive to carry around on a regular basis.

Consider a Domke F805 for its nice dimensions.

Just to give you an idea how much a Billingham 445 can carry,
(1) 1x 15" notebook
(2) 2x camera bodies
(3) 2x small prime lenses
(4) 2x mid-long lenses (70/80-200mm f/2.8, 180mm f/2.8, 200mm f/2.8, 300mm f/4)
(5) 1x light meter
(6) 2x flash (non-hammer head)
(7) 1x battery charger
(8) at least 4 sets of 4xAA with case
(9) bounce card
(10) blower, lense pen, lense clothe
(11) small foldable umbrella
(12) notebook
(13) snacks
(14) some more space for little stuff :)

How much is the 445 and where to get it?

The bags all feature our Five Loop Fixing system so that you can attach the Billingham Back Pack Harness or Tripod Straps.
How is that done? Don't see any description or diagrams on the website?

i recommed...

X-Boundaries, for ur Billy bag and accessories...

it is located at #01-11 The Adelphi 1 Coleman Street, S(179803)
Tel: 63333136

Ms.Merey Tan is the business manager. she's very helpful and patient with my endless enquiries and testing. one look at the Billy bag and i'm sold.

445 is really huge... 335 is just nice for my needs and build.
i paid around S$450 for it.

Do not go to K-13 Marketing. u'll be chopped to pieces. u've been warned...

i'm sure AJ23 has the same feeling about X-Boundaries... haha

how big is ur notebook?

i'm using the 12" ibook. just nice for my front compartment.

in fact my 335 can store 1 main 35mm body with lens on..
1 spare body
2 spare lens
2 flashguns...
might need some creative placement!

my cokin filters and adaptor...
my lumiquest bouncer
spare batteries...

more than enough for me and my gears...

after getting this bag, i don't think i'll ever need another new bag. very stylish and very durable. for me at least.

likewise for u, i guess?

Lowepro Computrekker AW

something like a minitrekker but with an extra compartment to put a laptop, so dimension is about the same as mini-trekker, about 1" thicker due to that compartment

ard (or less than?) $150 at CP

CP has no stock on this item for quite some time already, and there's no date on when new stock will arrive.

Yeah.. tell me about it. Told me 2nd week of December. Sigh. Long wait.

 Good service, but bad price.

the best price i can find, for Billy bags... way cheaper and better business-ethics than K-13 Marketing.

din't go to Max Photo though
but i bet the price is around the same.

these are the three main authorised retailers in Singapore for Billy bags.

Price bad as in Billy bags are !@#$% expensive. But then, it's still cheaper than a LV bag?

Anyway, the price of K-13 can be quite good, IF one knows them well...
