hey people!
i am very new to photography. totally new
theres this project which requires me to take photos
and need really good and professional ones.

I've been thinking of investing in a camera..
but its abit waste if i buy and use the camera for the project only..
feel like getting a cybershot T20
and can use it for other occasions as well..

anyone can gimme advice on this?

make a friend in this forum and borrow it for free.

Well.....you could try renting a DSLR....instead of buying one specially for the project.

yea i realised i could rent one..
but dont really know a thing about DSLR..
just wondering would a normal d-cam could produce photos that appears professional after post processing..
cos that would be great.. the pictures i need to take are like a bunch of my friends having fun playing cards indoors and some pictures of the cards as well.
As u all know the photos would appear like those my mum took.. would need it looking more professional..

use a scanner for the cards

and a P&S camera would be sufficient for your shots

without proper lighting even if you have a Hassy with a digital back, it will not look good

btw, welcome to CS :)
