agree... don't think most sensible people will want to put their thousand dollars of camera gears in a 10 dollar bag...

Yes, but if you find the originals they'll cost about as much as here. Other than that, you'll find the imitation Lowepro, Domke, etc. So you also need to know how to spot the fakes.

if you really wanted to buy one, be very meticulous in checking the bag. Check all the stitching, the material...etc.

If you want the Domke look and not the price, you can try out Safrotto. Looks like Domke clones with some difference here and there and well made. TCW has them

i just got my bag from CP, maybe can give some suggestions..

initially my thought was to get stealth reporter, subsequently i went down to CP, i looked at the actual stuff, found stealth reporter kinda big for me, even at te smallet size,
in the end i went home with a lowe pro Nova 180AW
just nice for me, can fit 1 dslr with lens and probably 1 or 2 more lenses to come with all my personal equipment like wallet and handphone when i go out

hope it helps

fakes are pretty much obvious. oem on the other hand are quite a good deal as basically they manufacture the same bags for the larger brands only that oem ones are much cheaper as selling factory direct under an obscure brand or something like that.

in cases where carrying an obvious camera bag or a bag that looks as though it holds a camera might be very dangerous for yourself, having a more robust camera for use in those cheap bags or even everyday pasar malam bags comes in handy. well thats my experience anyway.
