hey guys...
just finished calibrating, and the colors seem weird. anyone can suggest the best way to calibrate with photoshop?

you mean, adobe gamma

photoshop has no calibration function

in any case, adobe gamma is really a very rough calibration and many people do not know what it is actually asking.

and yes, i used adobe gamma.
followed step by step, and was trying to achieve the closest color match possible to photoshop.
how to i confirm this? or, better ways to calibrate?

there are two things that you have to take note of - the fact that most lcd monitors are not going to give you a full dynamic range possible.

the dpreview site always has a bottom bar that gives you black to shades of grey to white. optimally you should be able to see all the graduations. every little bar in there should be a different shade on your screen, and not burnt out, or become one block of black.

for color.. the only way (that i know of) to make sure you're doing it right is to print your stuff at a good lab and compare.

oh. ok. thanks alot.
printing and comparing in monitor, i think that's that.
sounds pretty straight.
thanks alot dude! ;)

but if anyone got other sugegstions, pls tell me. :)
