Martin Place is quite a popular place for photography with its wide promenade and old sandstone buildings:
Sydney is a pleasant city and Aussies are in general, nice people. Hope this sorts out peacefully. There is just no need for violence. It reflects badly on the cause these terrorist taking up arms for. I left Sydney yesterday evening feeling good but felt disturbed by the breaking news.

Three fatalities now reported, another three seriously injured.
Sydney has never seen anything like this.
Think hard about this please...maybe someone "needs" or is it "wants" the world to see this...I'm just saying...

It is sad when innocent people are dragged into something others are fighting for. In layman terms, barking up the wrong tree.
