A friend of mine asked me for advice on this camera but couldn't much reviews on it. Hopefully owners of this cam can share with me some of the pros and cons of this camera. How's the noise level like? Is it better than C750UZ. Thanks.

bigmouse said:I would get the c770 because of mpeg 4 & Lithium ion battery although more ex but it can last for years.
I have 4 sets of AA bat but found that some do not carry the charge well after a few months even after conditioned afew times. Sometime if u mix up some battery from a different set.... even fully charged the mixed set will not power up the cam.
Now, I labled each set of 4 to avoid mixing.

think the bad point is the battery the what special Li battery is ok when it is new but after sometime of use, the battery life will be reduced. for AA battery, we can buy a new one  with acceptable price while the special battery can cost u a bomb. :thumbsd:

In cold weather, Li-Ions beat NimH by a lot. The charger is also a lot smaller to carry around if you're travelling. Yes it's a little pricey compared to AAs but it has very strong advantages that NiMh doesn't have.
And certainly the battery will lose it's ability to hold charge after multiple charge and discharge cycles but the typical user would have gotten a lot of use out of the camera by then.
