hi people,

First time buying an expensive lens from shop. lets say you are going to buy a 17-55mm f2.8 lens which shop will you go to?

I heard that some shops in Singapore accept returns after customer has used the lens for photoshoots, etc. That makes me very apprehensive in buying as the first copy they show you is probably the worst, ie returned one, etc. So it is a must to go through a few copies right? how many copies do you test? Will you buy if the shop only has ONE copy?

Which shops do you guys recommend? Basically I am looking for one with a strict return policy and takes care of their lens.

Buy at Nikon Service Centre then.

best way, bring laptop and card reader along. test shoot then check on the laptop.

TK foto, CP, MS Color and Lords.

Some people might whine about Lords, but personal experience is that they are

If they do, how? You buy the Nikkors, 200 f/2VR, 300 f/2.8VR, 400 f/2.8, 500 f/4, 600 f/4 immediate?

do they have the elusive 18-200 VR?
