Do you people out there feel that getting a backup CF card now is worth it? Or should I wait for prices to drop further? I currently have a 1GB Lexar 40x and Hagiwara 512MB...planning to get the SanDisk Ultra II 1GB...

Agreed. The price is definitely going down, maybe faster than we expect. So, don't buy it unless you really need that piece of memory. Then when the price falls, you don't feel so regretted. ;)

But not many camera models can support 2GB/4GB CF cards/??
actually, most prosumers and DSLRs do support big capacity CF cards. as long as ur cam can use CF Type II cards, u can use a MD (microdrive) or CF cards like the 4GB Lexar 40x.
