Buying canon 500d!

Hey people!
I would like to know where to get the cheapest(name out the price)&new Canon 500D.
And do you guys think this model is suitable for a newbie?
As in for outdoor shootings.

Hello...welcome.

I believe there is a pricelist in the forum, do a search.

As for whether the cam is good enough for a newbie, I would say yes. All entry level cam is good enough for a newbie. It's just a matter of whether you are used to the user interface and locating the functions and if you can put it to good use to justify it's worth.

Any cam can be good enough for outdoor shots with good lighting.

500D is a good camera for newbies,im using 1 too...
i bought at courts mega store @ $1399 18-55mm lens..the sa to throw in 1 more originai batt,4 section tripod(better than the free 3 section tripod) 2 sd card,1 canon bag,canon lens book and cant really remember...tat was only 1mth ago..:thumbsup:
