for daily use & yet good enough to shoot my coral & fish

speed, macro, color capture
movie will be bonus
no need zoom, wide angle

im amaze with the pix taken with g10(some pix from another forum)
but choose g11 due to the performance in low light environment

canon s95/ panasonic lx-5 also not bad.

s95 will be ideal, get a waterproof casing and lower it into fish tank to do some fun underwater photography or video.

What is still left open that you can't make a decision? Have you read reviews? Have to tried any of them in a shop (they are different cameras, mind you)? Now that you know that both cameras are well capable of doing the job it's no longer a decision purely based on specs.

for still photo.. class 4 is enough.. for video, go for class 6..

anyhow my friend using class 4 for video with S95.. no prob at all..
