Thought to get Canon 40d + 17-55 F2.8 (Canon / Tamaron) ?

The Canon 17-55 f2.8 IS USM alone costs $1400++

As with TS original post, I believe he is referring to the Tamron 17-50 f2.8, that lens is in the range of $600++ just under $700. Bundled with the 40D body, shops may be willing to sell both for about $2500+. If there is stock.

S$2099 ? Which lens ? or Body ONLY.

I will prefer to get a F2.8.
i use to take under low light, that's y need more F Stop.
$$$, tamaron is more fair. But is that ok for 40D ? Maybe i need to try myself personnally and felt it
