Excellent moment captured given the opportunity!! (since alot of temples/monasteries don't allow photography)
Personally, would have cropped off the pot/kettle & the man in red on the right as I feel there are enough interest/subject in the pic already!
Great pic nevertheless!

The evening light shone through this dark and oily room at Jokhang.

Very inspirational shot. Well done.

Did you have to pay?

Where did you meter?

Thank Big Berd for your kind comment.
As this was a small Oil-lamp room outside the Temple,No paymet is required. I metered at the man( head portion) in the center of this room .

Hope to see some of your pix at Tibet too. :)

Very beautiful.

Maybe try to exclude the person in red and make the light ray angel more steep?

Just some different perspective since you have heard all the nice stuffs. So, not going to repeat them.

Thanks Binbeto for your kind comment.

I treasure all constructive suggestion for improvement. It helps.
Nut and Ziploc also suggested to crop off the person in red...

The angle of the sun ray was natural.... if can go steeper, it might helps.
Do you meant to PS its angle? Me not so good in PS. :(

Just crop and tilt the crop box by a bit. You can rotate the crop box a bit counter-clockwise.

From the window edge, you might have slanted the pic a bit, adjusting the angle might bring the ray steeper and bring the window parallel to the edge.

same comments as the others about the crop. Otherwise, it's
Thanks Knoxknocks... think many felt that this pix would look more "focus "without the secondary character ( the guy in red). :)
