Yah, we know the Burma military govt is very close to Singapore. That is not lost to us. Presume a lot of their ruling elite's children travel to Singapore. Well, hopefully they can work something out.

The military is still necessary. If something is suddenly dismantled, then the whole country becomes ungovernable. A slow transition may work.

I guess so long as she doesn not make herself percieved to be a threat to the new "democracy".

Based on historical drama of various countries, most probably it a ruse/ motives by the military junta.
It won't be long before something bad happen again.
