Hi guys,

As part of Hong Kah North photography interest group, we are organizing a trip to Bukit brown cemetery to capture the history and memories behind the graves of our pioneers and many other ancestors if prominent figures in Singapore. As you might have read in the news, the cemetery will be making way for the construction of expressway and hence be cleared by the end of this year.

Besides, if you're lucky/good, you'll be able to spot a few rare woodpeckers, crimson sunbird, lineages barbet, etc as Bukit brown is also a popular bird-spotting site!

Date: 3rd dec (sat)
Time: 1-4pm
Venue: kheam hock road (along PIE, after Adams rd exit)
Cost: Free (transport to location not provided)

Make a date with us as we shoot what will be gone in time to come and learn from each other in the process!
If you're interested to join, please call/SMS Han Boon at 96322058.

Hi bro...sorry i couldn't make it for this outing.

Was wondering if you will be organizing a similar outing to the same venue?

PS: This place is kind of special to me....because i still am unable to locate my great-grandfather's burial site.

Perhaps you may want to organize an outing there?
