I am travelling to Bangkok with Jetstar Asia next year January.

Just want to know if i can bring my Tripod (Sirui TX1004 + G20 Ball head) on board the plane.

Anyone have such experince?

If you can fit the tripod into the carry-on bag, shouldn't be an issue. I brought my T-2205X, together with a Photoclam multiflex geared head on board an SQ flight to Bali in August.

If you just enter "tripod airplane" into the search function (upper right hand) you can get your answer(s) much faster. The question is a frequently asked one, comes up short before every travel season. Help yourself.

no problem at all, tripod is not a dangerous stuff right? ;)

once a month i go to Jkt, i always bring tripod to plane
i attached the tripod onto my camera bag (side) even my tripod is quite heavy, not type of small tripod

put it in the langage will do, will you be using the tripod inside the areoplane?

I have handcarried 190xprob with 488rc2 in a padded tripod bag into planes multiple times. Never been stopped.

But also depends a lot on how much other handcarry you already have with you.
