bringing DSLR + zoom lenses on board Jetstar. Allowed?

HEhe...i still remember my days working part time as those baggage handlers...And Yes i worked as the one stuffing the bags into the cargo hole of the plane...

a word of advice....DO not Check in Our beloved cameras...Trust me ....We werent gentle At All.....heheh
to save time we actually throw the baggage from one end of the cargo hole to the other....
sigh....those were the days.....

you can bring in your dslr items as long as it does not exceed 10kg cabin/handcarry baggage allowance.

check-in baggage? not advisable for any valuable small items. :)

Hi,

I'm going on a trip soon and have chosen to just buy a JetSaver Light ticket which means that I can't check in any luggage.

I'm planning to bring my DSLR + lenses one of which is a 70-200mm F4 lens on board to the plane.

Have any of you tried this before? Is it allowed?

of cuz unless ur gona hand carry in the 1200mm lens den it wouldn't be allowed :)

I think as long as its reasonably small enough its should be ok. I wonder whats the limit on the length of the lens for small aircraft/
