Brightness of Photos in 40D differ after transfer to com

Hi all, I have noticed that my canon 40D have a very serious photo brightness problem after I transfer my photo into my com, the worst thing is I need to adjust all the photo to it's correct brightness after transfering :hung: Is there anyway I can correct it? Thanks!

Did you check the brightness by just looking at the picture via LCD or by Histogram?
The picture show in the LCD is not that acurate, it is better to use the histogram.

Another reason is your computer monitor or LCD is not calibrate.

You need to read up about exposure to get the right brightness you want. The camera's LCD is never a good way to gauge your photos.
