Actually, besides macrophotography, I'm thinking of shooting group portraits. I have noticed that when I mount a single flash on the hotshoe of the camera and I bounced the flash off the ceiling, there tend to be some light fall-off near the edge of the group.
So I figure I use 2 flashes. But then I may be wrong. What are your opinions?
Stroboframe has a bracket where you mount the camera in the centre and the 2 flashes on the left & right hand side of the camera. The flashes are connected to the camera by the flash sync cord. The whole bracket will then be mounted on the tripod.
I'm just wondering has anyone used such a bracket before.
Sometime ago, I was at a wedding dinner where the photographer was shooting with two flashes on a bracket, one to bounce off the ceiling and another as a separate fill flash. Not sure how he mounted the two, but the main (bounce flash) is a big "hammerhead" (looks like a Metz) and the smaller flash is in between.
