Bottle Tree Park - Yishun

Not too sure how many people has been this place, but once you travel toyishun you will never miss this new site while driving along yishun just opposite the stadium. Once glance you will notice it is some sort of village with numerous ponds and a few old village house.
This is belong to Bottle Tree Village and is call "Bottle Tree Park". It is a nice setup with fishing ponds, restuarant, play ground and some landscaping...
Have long been wanted to come here since it is quite a unique place to take a stroll. Happen that this morning, after my morning breakfast, made a trip to this place. It is a bit hard to find the entrance though... such a small sign.
Anyway, the camera is with me and took a number of shots...today the sky is very nice... blue sky with pattern clouds hanging around.
We just happened to see a couple taking wedding photos here...according to the supervisor, this place has been a famous spot for Wedding photographers.

Its free entry, basically a restaurant there. Food wise...huh.....have to judge yourself as I have never eaten there.

To drive there, go by Sembawang road (leading from Chong Pang towards AMK side) and turn left just (there is a small sign) before the junction turning left to yishun stadium. Follow the signs and pass by some AVA quarantine buildings before reaching. Ample parking lots.

For non-drivers, alight from Khatib and walked towards the direction of the yishun stadium without crossing the road. Just follow the path until you hit a small gate on the right.

Nice place to bring the family.

hi bro, ate that once, we had to wait 3 hours to get our seats coz it was so crowded...but since drive so far liao decided to wait. food is good :thumbsup: planning to go back again soon.

Ya, the supervisor I meet that day did told us that they have a hard time in CNY..alot of orders but can't fulfill. Many were disappointed..
He also mention a number of dishes go disappear but never goes to the correct table. Recently got about 3 dish of crab go missing or go to wrong table. But never charge. Anyway, they got to find a proper way to control it.

Just to let you guys know, the BOTTLE TREE(first picture) infront of the park, each cost around US15K. One of them died after they transported here due to knocks during shippment. Do take a good look of this uique tree - looks like bottle from australia...

i see this place everyday going from AMK (851/2/3 bus service) transfer to bus 969. Haven't been inside though. Will give it a visit someday... and nice pix btw.

the food there is not worth the price they are charging for.. plus.. might have a lot of mozzies.. so please take due care..
