Books for me to read..

It has books covering anything you can possibly think of about photography. Many books on specialised subjects. Alot of the titles you cannot find in other bookshops in Singapore, hence abit pricy.

Really recommend getting HWM Mega Guide. Really worth it.

Bought Bryan Peterson's books on Exposure and Creative Photography yesterday at Riceball Funan.

Friendly people there, totally helpful in a non pushy kind of way.

RiceBall is a good place to buy books and the people are most willing help with recommendation should you feel lost . I bought both the "Learning to See Creatively" and "Understanding Exposure" by Bryan Peterson from them.

It was only opened just a few days ago and is located on level 1 beside Subway. It has a smaller collection of books compared to the one at Adelphi but the discount is well worth the visit. Just got myself another book

Bryan Peterson's Understanding Exposure is a good and light (pun unintended) read, ideas are put across without being too technical.

For buying of books, besides Riceball, maybe also PageOne at Vivo? I only had time to do a quick tour once around the shop, seems to have quite a collection also.

You can check out Bishan Library if its nearby, it has quite a decent collection of photography books, I get most of my readings from there.

Yes I have. The shop at Adelphi is better stocked and has a more homely atmosphere.

The Funan branch mainly targets those who bought their first cameras there and may want to get some reference materials. If you noticed, the digital field guides for the DSLRs are quite well stocked there :bsmilie:

Anyway, this is getting OT.
