There is another one, two young girls pushing a trolley around. Normally operates at east area at all the semi ds, selling home made icecream. The story is their dad lost their job and they are selling ice cream to help him pay off debts.

Honestly I donated to them before and I dont mind if it is real, I mean I pity them. However I heard from friends staying in that area, that the story changes everytime. Anyone else encountered them?

think 2 weeks back, went to a hawker centre for lunch, then a group so called wanna issue tickets and request donations... then we just say, we do online donation instead, gimme your website... the guy just walk off...

Be safe, stay safe. 1 single word - DON'T DONATE.

End of story.

I've stopped donating to charities, including those approached by my colleagues for their churches/temples/childrens' CCA/funfair tickets.

All those people who smile at me at MRT stations/shopping centres for survey/credit cards etc, all get a "not interested" wave bye bye.

Anybody who asks me for directions, I always look around if I'm surrounded by other strangers, with an "accidental" bump, & check my wallet/handphone.

I'm getting paranoid. Am I living in Singapore where the Great Men In White say is paradise?
