Hi everyone Im new here, so forgive me if I fail to abide by the guidelines (although Ill try my best).

This shot was taken on a cloudy evening. Personally, I was attempting to convey a sense of forlorn and darkness through this shot.
The subject is erm, everything beyond the black, natural 'frame', I guess. I literally committed a 'point-and-shoot' when taking it...
Methinks this is trash, but its the best of what I have. My gallery is sad );
Any feedback on whether any emotion is evoked is greatly appreciated though,
Along with any on photographic composition...

Details:
Camera: Leica V-LUX 1
Exposure: 0.005 sec (1/200)
Aperture: f/4.5
Focal Length: 7.4 mm
ISO Speed: 400

Thank you for reading. :)

What is your thoughts on the foreground? What are they related to the background? IMHO, I can't comprehend your theme.

Hi, Junyi... Welcome to clubsnap... In ur post u mentioned about conveying a sense of forlorn and darkness through ur shot. The photo is not too badly done, but it could be improved perhaps by giving a more dramatic prespective and by isolating a single subject in the shot, such as the chair. The framing emcompasses far too many subjects and it would be better to just concentrate on a few...

Heh no idea. Like I said, it was literally point and shoot...

Hi,
Yeah Ill keep the single subject in mind next time, thank you very much...

Location not very correct in the first place. Hence the bleak appearance is insufficient.
