only managed to take a few macros cause I was more concerned about getting the sunset instead..

is it just me or does this guy have a leg missing.. and i wonder how does he hop like that.

I dont think it's really called a tiger moth but it has those similar stripes.. so I called it the tiger moth! I'm an insect expert!! I get to name insects! grah!

Woah.. this guy/girl was under my bag which I left on the grass to shoot grasshoppers.. Quite huge fella.. about the size of my thumb.. thats like 2 cm? At least it stopped to let me take a picture of it before scurrying away!!

I'm not very enthused by macro yet cause of the heavyness of my set up and frustrations of not having a macro specific lens but if there is something to shoot I'll be obsessing it till I get the shot..
