Birds from Japan

Hi all,

I would like to share my humble pictures taken during my trip to Japan in Dec. Despite being winter, I was pleasantly surprised to see a great number of birds along the Hozugawa River (Kyoto) and Sumida River (Tokyo)

Yes, sparrows
I found them perched on the bill of the pelican statue at Hibiya park. Totally ignored me as they chittered away even though I'm less than 2m away ^_^
