Okay, in fairness, I have to admit I have some inside information. YS has told me what equipment he used for this shot, and this has confirmed my suspicions that the shot isn't sharp. What do you expect when you shoot with Nikon and even worse a lousy amateur 70-210/4 AF lens? Not only is it screwdriver driven, but slow f4 aperture some more.

You want to shoot birds in flight be a man... shoot on manual focus lah, better than slow Nikon AF. One of my heron shots from some time back is shot with manual focus. Can be done one!
