Yes the Lyre bird is real and it's a perfect mimic. It's a bird from Australia and it is famous for immitating lost people in the bush, often to the dismay of of searchers.

You can't. Lyre Birds are a protected species list and as such are on the prohibited list of exports from Australia unless it's to a recognised zoo.
